This Privacy Policy explains how Venice Enigma Developer (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use Venice Enigma (the “Service”) at venice.portalpi.com.

1) Not Affiliated With Pi Network / Portal Pi

The Service is operated by its developer and is not owned or controlled by Pi Network or Portal Pi unless explicitly stated. Pi authentication and Pi payments, where used, are processed via Pi Network’s platform.

2) Data We Collect

• Pi account data (if you log in): Pi username and a unique Pi user identifier.
• Scores & gameplay data: score submissions, timestamps, and minimal gameplay events needed for leaderboard integrity.
• Payment references (if purchases exist): payment ID / status needed to verify delivery (we do not store your passphrase).
• Technical logs: basic server logs and error logs to keep the Service stable and secure.
• Local settings: e.g., mute preference stored locally (browser storage) as audio_muted or similar.

3) How We Use Data

• Provide core gameplay features and save scores when logged in.
• Show leaderboards and highlights.
• Prevent abuse, cheating, and fraud.
• Debug issues and improve performance/stability.

4) Public Leaderboard / Score Display

The Service may publicly display leaderboard information (e.g., “Top 10 Hunters”, “Best score”, “Last score”). This can include your Pi username and score, visible on the website/index and in the game UI.

If you want your username removed from public display, contact us at support@venice.portalpi.com. We may keep minimal internal records for anti-cheat/integrity while removing public display.

5) Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data only:

• With Pi Network for authentication and payment processing (if enabled).
• With hosting/security providers strictly to operate and protect the Service.
• For legal reasons if required by law.

6) Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the Service, leaderboard integrity, security, and legal obligations. Score runs may be retained to prevent abuse and to compute best scores.

7) Your Choices / Requests

You may request removal from public leaderboards, or ask questions about your data by emailing support@venice.portalpi.com.

8) Security

We use reasonable security measures, but no system is 100% secure. Use the Service at your own risk.
